Under direction performs work involved in the purchasing of materials and supplies; does related duties as required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives and reviews requisitions prior to submission to the Purchasing Agent. Communicates with vendors by telephone and/or correspondence. Performs clerical work involved in preparation of contracts following the awarding of bids.

Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Special Requirements:
Valid NJ Drivers License
