Under supervision, performs varied assignments of limited complexity involved in the receipt and disbursement of money for events held at the Ocean City Music Pier or for bus tickets in the Transportation Center; answers routine questions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs duties using an online ticket computer system to sell, print and collect money. Payment can be made by cash, check and credit card. Provide information about shows and other city related events. Hands out brochures, answer questions from the public and perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge of: Arithmetic computation such as discount and interest, and how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.

Ability to: Count and record numerical data; perform basic arithmetic computations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication; follow detailed oral and written directions; establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers; deal courteously with the general public; maintain records and files; utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units; read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position. American Sign Language or Braille may also be considered as acceptable forms of communication.

Tools and Equipment Used:
Computer, printer, telephone, calculator and ticket printer.

Physical Demands:
Position requires employee to: Continuously talk or hear, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and occasionally stand. Specific vision requirements: Close and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
Position requires employee to: Continuously work in an inside office environment.
